ATCA juneau Regional Conference
August 15-16

The purpose of ATCA’s Regional Conference is to provide a forum to bring Alaska tribes, native corporations, government agencies, and other stakeholders together to expand knowledge and preservation of cultural lands. The goal is to support our common goals by helping to overcome barriers. The conference serves to inform Alaska Native Governments, Corporations and interested parties about the importance of forming Tribal Conservation Districts and to promote sustainable development and management of the natural resources of Alaska.

By bringing together a collection of representatives and leaders from U.S. federal agencies with the purpose of enhancing collaboration with Alaska native tribes, Alaska native corporations and interested parties to help overcome the challenges tribes face in the management of natural resources and subsistence agriculture activities.
